Timothy Moore, DC

Dr. Moore graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West in 2017 with ‘Cum Laude’ honors and is a member of the International Chiropractic Honors Society.

Dr. Moore was born and raised in northern Nevada, graduating from Reno High School in 2007.  Starting from a very young age, baseball was an integral part of Dr. Moore’s life; always out in the yard, playing ball with his dad who taught him the importance of throwing accuracy due to his own knee pain that he was suffering with. Spending countless hours in rehab with his dad over the years is what sparked Dr. Moore’s interest in the human body, and how it functions. All the countless hours of practice led him to play baseball for head coach Pete Savage at Reno High. After suffering from shin splints for several weeks and not having the ability to run, Dr. Moore’s mom took him to a chiropractor. One appointment later, he was running around the baseball diamond without pain. This solidified in his mind that he was going into the healthcare field to help people in a way that he and his dad were helped.

After high school, Dr. Moore spent two seasons playing college baseball at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA. Due to low back and knee injuries in consecutive seasons, Dr. Moore ended his baseball career and focused his efforts on his education – later receiving his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University in 2013.

Dr. Moore’s treatment style consists of Flexion-Distraction therapy, drop table adjusting in motion, Diversified adjusting, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and corrective exercise. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Moore loves to spend time with his wife, Dr. Elisha Walker, hiking, tossing the ball around, and simply enjoying the outdoors/community.
